In this research program , integrated critical Cybernics research is furthered to solve practical problems while working closely with the project promoter(s) and researchers. For this purpose, new information fields will be pioneered by developing "Cybernics" through IT that seamlessly links human thoughts with artificial things, physical function support technology that uses IT, and system management technology for applying this to society.


Furthermore, there will be an effort to create new industries that will be able to meet social needs by establishing laws and international guidelines related to “human support technology,” working with venture companies and other enterprises, or through linkages among government, academia, and the private sector. This project is constructing the framework in which basic studies oriented toward solving practical problems will be promoted, and thus hand-on experience with practical problems will be used to solve basic problems.
